Fellow Foodie Bites #5

Ok, here are about a million things that I really want to try!

Fellow Foodie Bites
These chocolate cashew cookies are so pretty, and make my mouth water!

Joy the Bakers no bake peanut butter tart is something I'd sell my little brother for.

This zucchini bread recipe looks like a winner.

Green tofu curry sounds like something we should have for dinner TONIGHT! And we just might!

These 5 top workouts should help with all the dessert pounds piling on!

I have always wondered about fried green tomatoes. They are a mystery no longer!

These zucchini pancakes might be a good use for some of our garden harvest!

Unfortunately I have discovered David Lebovitz's blog, and all of his amazing ice cream recipes! I can feel my thighs expanding just looking at the pics of dark chocolate ice cream, salted butter caramel ice cream, and lemon verbena ice cream. Drool!

I do believe that I will make these pumpkin chocolate chip bars at work tonight!

This fancy chocolate bark could sell well around thanksgiving at the bakery!

All of these posts about homemade cheese might have just given me the courage to try making some queso of my own! Ooooh, let the dairy fest begin! Yogurt cheese, ricotta cheese, mascarpone, creme fraiche, and queso blanco! Eeek! Cheese overload!

So sorry for the ridiculous amount of links there! It just all looks so good, plus it helps me organize my "want to try" list. Thanks for dealing! Enjoy the fun food fest!

  2. Cheese? Did someone say cheese?

    Yum!

I'm trying to behave with a little under 5 weeks to go before the wedding and some days I just can't do it. Too much good food out there. On the plus side, at least I have been good with avoiding any and all fast food.

  3. That's a great idea, putting it in a list like that. Personally, I'm double glad I looked because I forgot where I'd seen the blueberry sherbet that I so much want to make and it's your picture up top. I'm headed to that post now!

  7. Kim- congrats on your upcoming wedding! Good job on avoiding fast food too! I know how you feel though, sometimes it seems like all the bad (and tasty) food in the world is stalking you, and begging to be eaten! sigh. Keep up the good work!

The Mom Chef- Hope the sherbet turns out for you! It is SO good!

Arlene- I'm hoping that I have friends around when I make those! I REALLY don't want to eat them all myself! They DO look delicious!

Becky & Ravienomnoms- I tried those the other night! So moist and flavorful! Very cakey. I ended up baking them slightly longer than called for because they were too gooey in the middle still. Very tasty!
